How to track your other workouts with Seven
Aiming to beat the 7 Month Challenge? We all get busy and forget to squeeze in a seven minute workout from time to time, but Seven wants to encourage you to be active everyday! This is one of the reasons why you can log all your other activities in Seven too.
Aside from all of the seven minute workouts you do, you can also log the workouts you do at home, at the gym or that 30 minute walk you did with your family, and it will still count towards your 7 Month Challenge!
Tracking all your ‘external’ workouts allows you to continue with the 7 Month Challenge even if you can’t squeeze in a Seven workout session one day, and helps you stay on track towards your fitness goals.
Just remember that Seven only counts the workout sessions that are over 7 minutes! Here’s a quick step-by-step to start logging your activity.
Step One: Open Seven and tap the ‘Workout’ tab if you haven’t done so already.
Step Two: Scroll down to the ‘Add Activity’ button and tap that, this will lead you to the Add Activity screen.
Step Three: Here, ‘Name’ your workout, write a ‘Note’ about how it went, select the type of ‘Activity’ and put in the start time and the total duration. Finally, be sure to press ‘Save’ at the top right hand corner when you’re done.
Pro tip: You can also sync your workouts directly from Apple Health/Google Fit, without the need for extra input. Just go to Settings in Seven, and tap Health to enable it!
As long as your activity is over 7 minutes, it will count towards your seven month challenge! It’s that simple. Your new activity will show up in your feed for your friends and followers to see and you won’t lose a heart that day. Pretty neat, right?
