Best Brunch Pancakes

Is there anything better than a workout followed by a long lazy brunch? This recipe for healthy pancakes is the perfect weekend breakfast for two.

You'll need:

- 2 eggs
- 2 bananas (any size)
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- Pinch of salt

Whizz everything in a blender and let the mixture sit for 10 minutes to thicken up. Heat a non-stick frying pan to medium/high and add generous spoonfuls to the pan to fry. Serve with fruit and your favourite sweetener (agave or runny honey work well).

Chocolate-Peanut Butter Milkshake

Craving something sweet? This healthy take on a classic milkshake contains a healthy mix of carbs, protein, fat (plus a dose of healthy fibre). Bonus: it's easy to make vegan!

You'll need:

- 1 cup milk of choice
- 2 tbs cocoa powder
- 1 frozen banana, sliced
- 1 tbs peanut butter
- 1 tbs chia seeds
- 2 dates
- 1/2 cup ice cubes
Optional: 1/2 cup greek yoghurt for a thicker shake

Simply mix everything in the blender and serve with grated dark chocolate on top if you're feeling fancy!
