I wanted to find a daily workout which I could do everywhere. The most important thing for me was an app with no need for any additional equipment. Seven fit the bill.
I also absolutely enjoy the idea behind Seven – 7 minutes of HIIT and that’s it for a day. Of course you can do more a day but at the end it really is that simple.
I’ve actually worked out with Seven every single day since the 7th of January 2014! That means my current streak is at 2953 days and 1407% in the 7 Month Challenge.
I’m an active person, so together with my other activities I’ve noticed that I’m feeling better and shaping my body.
Using Seven every single day brings a lot of mental health benefits, especially after a hard day at work with sitting almost the whole day in front of the laptop. On occasion I also use Seven during my break at the office.
I run at least twice a week and like doing Seven workouts just after training. With the Custom Workout feature I made a special outdoor training which works perfectly as a cool down after a run in the forest.
With the Apple Watch on my wrist and the Seven App on it, it’s that easy! I turn on the music and go for another 7 minutes before heading into the shower 😊
Here’s how to keep your stats up to date by logging your other workouts in Seven.
I enjoy exercise, but sometimes it’s hard to motivate yourself to get started. The great thing about Seven is that it just became a part of my daily routine, like brushing my teeth! Also the chance to add any other training like running or biking made it easy to keep going and going.
I think simply making it a part of your daily routine is the secret to staying motivated. Plus with the new exercises the great Seven team added in the last year, there really is no excuse to not do at least one workout a day. There’s always 7 minutes left somewhere, even if it’s just a stretch when I feel sick or tired.
All workouts which focus on my belly, so the workouts in the Core category are great for me. I didn’t used to be happy with my waist, so the main goal was shaping it. It’s still not perfect but I’m much more satisfied now.

I’m very active, so I run, ski and do another type of skiing called Telemark. I try to spend about 20-30 days skiing each winter, but it can be less since due to family responsibilities (that said, I’m also a volunteer ski instructor I do get to teach my two kids skiing as well).
Seven is a good way for me to prepare for the winter ski season - when winter is just around the corner I start focusing more on my thigh strength with my Seven workouts.
I created my own workout on Seven before heading to my first Heli-Skiing* trip to Whistler/Canada with a couple of friends some years ago. To prepare myself for the trip, I decided to focus on my legs and particularly my thighs. I started half a year before we flew over to Canada and I have to say, thanks to Seven I was prepared perfectly and had my greatest skiing time ever!
*Heli skiing is off-trail, downhill skiing that is accessed by a helicopter.
We’re so inspired to hear how Seven supports Henning’s active lifestyle! We’ll definitely take a leaf out of his book before hitting the slopes next winter.
